I could see this implemented via some sort of widgety installed into a site. "The latest from the OpenIdeas Community". Listing out a contributor's name and site address, as well as a snippet of their idea. Site owners could dedicate an entire page to their site to promote the concept, and even share that site owners own OpenIdea contributions.

Definite merit to the concept.

Go Boldly!</em>

Interesting idea. I've had almost exactly the same thought. There are a couple of apps out there doing isolated aspects of this.

Distinct from those efforts, we're working on a system in this space. Keep an eye out for the beta.

Just found your site today. I'm looking forward to catching up on your posts and following along in the future.

James, I think we both are the kind of person chasing after exciting ideas! I would like the community not only helps to promote, but also to develop some raw-ideas with potential into matured plans!

Btw, I like your slogan, yes, Go Boldly!

Hello blink,
Can you tell me the URL of your system if it's available now? I believe blogsphere is one way to create this kind of community, but it's not efficient enough. Thanks for your comment, and I like the book also named "blink" by Malcom Gladwell.
