Idea Day22: CrowdRecall
How about utilize crowdsourcing to write history of import events?
While you are engaging in an event, you can use your cellphone or laptop to upload texts/photos/videos/voices to your blog in realtime. After that event, you can recall what you still remember and better organize them and write them down at your blog. In fact, everyday we are recording a small piece of history online (at least for bloggers), but those recordings are scattered. So if there is a wikipedia-like platform, and each event has their own entry, then everyone can add their own recalls (in texts or multimedia) to fill in entries of events they have attended. Won’t it be an uber-history of collaboration?
Until now, I only come up with wiki-like style to accomplish such a huge project . The are still some problems of this idea , like overlapping of recalls or lack of organization. Moreover, how to determine what is related to this event, and what is not?
